Keeping Staff Schedules

It's 10:03 a. m. and you keep looking at the customer waiting up front and checking for the back door to open with your missing massage therapist.
Why is she late? Why didn't she call? Is everything OK?

Client List Security

What would happen if your schedule disappeared today?

Really. Gone.

Once, about a hundred years ago, our paper and pencil appointment book sprouted feet and walked away from the front desk for several days. Then one day it magically reappeared.  It must have had some vacation for the condition it was in too, because it was in a very sad, sad, state!

But, oh boy! Those few days of shuffling, overlapped, disorganized, overlooked, overbooked, and forgotten promises made us all crazy! The manager practically chained it to the front desk when it magically resurfaced again.

My list of clients has grown over the years. Some I still see regularly, some only here and there. Once in a while, someone I have not heard from in months will resurface again.

Its Finally Here!

When I owned a small salon about a hundred years ago, computers were new to business. (Boy, I suddenly feel old!) And what was available for bookkeeping was slow, complex, and was not designed for flexibility.

Using REPORTS To Measure Your Small Business Success

I love the Reports feature of Schedule'em online calendar.
That satisfaction can be measured quickly now with an easy click on "report ."

Schedule'em will organize your appointment books Online.
As you "check out" each individual client on your schedule, make sure you adjust the total amount you actually charged if it is different from that your programed number suggests. Sometimes when my customers arrive we end up doing something a little different, and I need to adjust the cost to show the additional charges.  I also choose to include my tips in my totals, but that is up to each individual user.
 
Open the Reports tab, and enter the dates to generate a complete report of all clients that you have Checked Out. Clients NOT checked out will not be included in this report.
 
You can run a different report "Not Checked Out Reports", which is further down on the reports page.  Its probably a good idea to do this report as well, to see if you have missed something so that you are sure to have accurate totals.

 
What an easy fix.  What has been keeping this little baby a secret for so long?
